Even more on our organic finishing olive oil!

Olive Truck’s organic Frantoio finishing olive oil is from a single estate, is monovarietal, and extra virgin. This finishing oil is intense, complex with green fruitiness, well-balanced bitterness, and pungency. It has notes of artichoke, green almond, and fresh cut grass. Always hand-picked and processed in the olive truck! Thanks to the ability to drive into the olive groves, “Olive Truck” is able to cold-press within an hour of harvesting local varieties of California olives. The freshness produces the highest-quality olive oil full of nutrients, polyphenols, and antioxidants.

Olive oil is a "fruit juice" and contains many antioxidants that are very beneficial to health. Although these antioxidants differ from the cultivars of olive, they are found in olive oil more or less in relation to the timing and technique of production. The most important fact here is that the olives are pressed and turned into olive oil in the shortest amount of time after harvest.

Unfortunately, that’s not usually the case in California and most of the other places where olives grow. The olives are harvested and moved to a factory mill to be pressed within 12 – 24 hours at best. Olive Truck has reversed this to convert the best olives into the highest quality olive oil. All Olive Truck oils are processed in a mobile facility to produce the best quality, freshest, and highest antioxidant-containing olive oils.
