Lemongrass Essential OilThis Lemongrass Essential Oil has a fresh, earthy, citrus scent! It is thought to be energetically cleansing and helpful for stressful states of mind.

UseIn diffuser blends the relaxing qualities can be emphasized with lavender or clary sage. For a bright and tropical feel combine lemongrass with fresh ginger and ylang ylang. This oil also combines beautifully in diffusers for a boost of energy with spearmint and lemon. It can be used in massage oil for occasional soreness and included in cosmetics from soaps to lotions and skin care serums. This oil can help support general skin health and has astringent qualities for controlling blemishes and blends well with palmarosa or juniper for these same purposes. It can be combined with oils like geranium, cinnamon leaf, or peppermint in carrier oils, cream, or shampoo to support healthy feet, nails, and scalp. This oil is found in many outdoor essential oil blends to help deter pests alongside citronella, cedarwood, thyme, and catnip. The cleansing properties of lemongrass pair well with sage in deodorants, or in soaps with rosemary, eucalyptus, and bergamot.
Warning: The strong aroma and menthol content should be avoided during pregnancy. This oil should also NOT be taken orally as it can be toxic. Can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions.
