Our mission is to provide bulk groceries in refillable containers with a mission to create a better grocery system, where waste is minimized and products are responsibly sourced. Groceries… without all the waste. Along the way, we make hard choices in our sourcing practices as a low-waste business — striving to do so with our values top of mind. We always choose non-toxic for all our cleaning, bath and body, and home good products and certified organic for all our consumable products, ensuring the health and safety of our community, workers, soil, water, and shared planet.
We value responsibility, accountability, and deep care for our shared environment. Accordingly, we prioritize vendors who work to reduce waste at all steps of the production chain. We strive to work with vendors who are circular: taking back their containers, washing, and reusing them after the product inside has been refilled. We aim to work with vendors who offer products that are package-free & plastic-free, shipping and packing their goods with little or no packaging. We look for products that are made locally, reducing the impact of transportation and lowering our carbon footprint. And, we always do our best to carry durable goods, made to last, so you’ll be able to use and enjoy them for years to come.
We value transparency and integrity. As such, we work with partners who are invested in the health of their workers, communities, and environments. We prioritize family-owned and worker-owned businesses, organizations run and cared for by the workers themselves. We seek to partner with certified green businesses and those committed to ecological stewardship. We look for vendors who are B-Corps — businesses meeting high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
We value the health and safety of our community and our shared planet. We prioritize products that are healthy and safe for our bodies, workers, soil, water, and ecosystem. We always choose non-toxicand biodegradable for our cleaning products — safe for use in your home, on your skin, and in our waterways. We always carry certified organic consumable items, ensuring safety for your family, farmworkers, and the soil; if it can go in your mouth, it’s organic. And, we specialize in unscented and hypoallergenic products that are gentle on your skin.
