Let’s Divert Some Food Waste...

Food Waste

40% of the food that is grown in the United States ends up being wasted and 20% of food that families purchase to eat never actually gets eaten... woah. It sounds like, we should all add reducing food waste to our family’s sustainability resolutions.

By reducing food waste, we can save some major bucks on food purchasing, reduce our usage of the water and the tools to grow the food, and help alleviate the climatic impact on the landfills and waste systems.

At the refill shop, we have a few powerhouse food waste tools to add to your playbook if they aren't in there already. So, check your local refillery for some great options to cut back on all that food wasting.
